Low-Voltage Kit - Milton

Here is a fully customized Milton driveway bell for use on very long driveways.  These bells are customized and utilize a low voltage connection connect the bell and the end of driveway unit.  This customized bell has been tested on driveways up to one-thousand two-hundred fifty feet (1250') in length.  The end of driveway unit is a Milton 825, remote switch, pictured just to the left of the Milton bell.  It links the driveway hose and the grey electrical wire. 

This low-voltage kit includes:

• One customized Milton Driveway Signal Bell – This bell is customized and works with the Milton 825 remote end of driveway unit.  This bell can no longer have a hose connected directly to the bell and must be operated with the end of driveway unit.
• One Milton 825 remote switch end of driveway unit - This unit is pictured to the left of the Milton bell.
• Twenty-five feet of driveway hose.
• One end-of-hose anchor including two hose clamps.
• Low-voltage electrical wire not included.

Low-Voltage Kit - Adaptabel

Here is another long driveway solution.  This is a very heavy-duty steel bell with a very high pitch ring tone.  This bell kit utilizes a low voltage connection between the bell and the end of driveway unit.  This bell has been tested on driveways up to one-thousand two-hundred fifty feet (1250') in length.  The end of driveway unit is a Milton 825, remote switch.  It is pictured just to the left of the Milton bell.  It links the driveway hose and the grey electrical wire.

The bell operates off of a 12 volt transformer that is included with the kit.  It can be used on very long driveways and where low voltage connection between the bell and end of driveway switch is needed.  The bell is 4-1/2" in diameter. 

The difference between this kit and the Milton kit listed immediately above is the pitch of the bell. The Adaptabel is a much higher pitched ring than the Milton bell.

This low-voltage bell kit includes:

• One 4-1/2" low-voltage Adaptabel bell – This bell kit works with the included Milton 825 remote end of driveway switch.  This bell cannot have a hose connected directly to the bell and must be operated with the end-of-hose driveway unit.
• One Milton 825 remote end of driveway switch - This unit is pictured to the left of the Milton bell.
• One 12 volt transformer that plugs into an ordinary 110V electrical outlet.
• Twenty-five feet of driveway hose.
• One end-of-hose anchor including two hose clamps.
• Low-voltage electrical wire not included.

Low-voltage electrical wire is not included and the purchaser will need to determine the length needed and visit a hardware store to purchase this wire.  It is recommended to use 16 gauge wire.

High-Voltage Kit - Milton

This kit is designed to work on very long driveways using a high voltage connection (110V) between the remote switch and signal bell. The remote switch is usually located next to the driveway that is being monitored and is connected to directly to the end of the driveway hose.  The signal bell is located where it can be heard which is usually inside of a building. 

 The remote switch and bell will need to be connected using high-voltage (110V) wiring that is not included with this kit. 

This high-voltage kit includes:

• One Milton 827 remote controlled signal bell – This bell works with the Milton remote switch and cannot have a driveway hose connected directly to the bell.
• One Milton 825 remote switch - This unit is pictured as the silver rectangular weather-proof box in the picture on the left.
• Driveway Signal Hose (between 25' & 100'  lengths of hose)
• One end of hose anchor.
• High-voltage electrical wire not included.

Loud Vibrating Bell Kit - Low-Voltage linkage for use on very long driveways

This is our loudest bell.

This bell is rated at 87decibels at a distance of ten feet from the bell.  It is a very heavy-duty steel bell with a very loud vibrating ring tone.  Vibrating bells ring differently than the Milton bell and Original bell.  This bell produces a short burst of rings each time a vehicles tires drive across the driveway hose.  The Milton and Original bell ring once each time a vehicles tires compress the driveway hose.  The duration of ringing occurs only as long as a vehicles tires are compressing the hose. 

This customized bell has been tested on driveways up to one-thousand two-hundred fifty feet (1250') in length.  The end of driveway unit is a Milton 825, remote switch, pictured just to the left of the Milton bell.  The end of driveway unit is connected to the bell using low voltage electrical wire.  The electrical wire is not included with the kit.
